Everything you can do with this PDF editor

Edit existing PDF text

Click any line of the document and retype it. The editor covers the old words and matches the size and colour, so a date, a price or a name can be changed in seconds.

Add text in 130+ fonts

Type anywhere on the page in built-in PDF fonts or 130+ Google Fonts: sans, serif, display, handwriting and mono, with bold, italic, size, colour and alignment.

Every language, as real text

Arabic, Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi, Hebrew, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Thai, Cyrillic, Greek and more. Letters join and shape correctly, and the saved PDF keeps real, selectable text.

Fill PDF forms

Type into form fields, tick checkboxes, choose radio buttons and drop-down options. You can also lock the fields so the filled form cannot be changed.

Sign PDF documents

Draw your signature with a mouse or finger, type it in a handwriting font, or upload a picture of it. It is remembered on your device for next time.

Highlight, underline and strike out

Select text on the page and mark it in five highlighter colours, or underline and strike it through, like in Adobe Reader.

Comments and sticky notes

Add sticky notes that are saved as real PDF comments, so they open in Adobe Acrobat, Preview, Chrome and every other PDF reader.

Draw, shapes and stamps

Pen and marker, rectangles, circles, lines and arrows, plus ready stamps like APPROVED, PAID, DRAFT and CONFIDENTIAL.

Whiteout and images

Cover anything with white and write over it, or place logos, photos and pictures, then move and resize them freely.

Organize pages

Reorder pages by dragging their thumbnails, rotate them, delete them or insert blank pages.

Search and print

Find any word in the document with Ctrl+F, and print the edited PDF directly from the editor.

Undo, zoom and shortcuts

Undo and redo up to 80 steps, zoom from 25% to 400%, keyboard shortcuts for every tool, and it works on phones and tablets.

A PDF editor for every language

Most online PDF editors only handle Latin letters well. Here you can type in Arabic and Urdu from right to left with properly joined letters, in Hindi and Punjabi with correct conjuncts, and in Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Thai, Hebrew, Cyrillic and Greek. The text stays real text in the saved PDF, so it can be selected, copied and searched.

Frequently asked questions

Is this PDF editor really free?

Yes. The Pixel Print Co PDF Editor is completely free: no sign-up, no watermark on your files, and no limit on how many PDFs you edit.

Are my files safe? Are they uploaded?

Your PDF is never uploaded. It is opened, edited and saved inside your own browser, on your own device, so nobody else can see it. Only fonts are downloaded, when you use them.

Can I edit the existing text in a PDF?

Yes. Choose "Edit existing text" and click on a line: you can retype it in a matching size and colour. Click the same line again later to change it again. Scanned pages are pictures with no text inside, so for those use Whiteout and then Add text.

Can I type in Arabic, Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi or Chinese?

Yes. The editor has 130+ fonts for every alphabet, including Arabic, Urdu (Naskh and Nastaliq), Hindi, Punjabi, Hebrew, Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Thai. Right-to-left text and joined letters are shaped correctly, and the saved PDF keeps real, selectable text (Nastaliq is saved as a high-resolution picture).

How do I fill in and sign a PDF form?

Open the PDF, click in a field and type; tick boxes and choose options with a click. Then choose Sign, draw, type or upload your signature, and click where it goes. Download the PDF when you are done.

Does it work on iPhone, Android and Mac?

Yes. It runs in any modern browser on Windows, Mac, Linux, ChromeOS, iPhone, iPad and Android. There is nothing to install.

Can I add, delete, rotate or reorder pages?

Yes. Use the page thumbnails to drag pages into a new order, rotate them, delete them or add blank pages.

Will my notes and highlights show in Adobe Acrobat?

Yes. Sticky notes are saved as real PDF comments. Highlights, drawings, text and signatures are written into the page, so they look the same in every PDF reader.

Can I edit a password-protected PDF?

If the PDF needs a password to open, enter it and edit as usual. If it is protected against changes, the editor saves a new copy where the pages are images with your edits on top.

Is there a file size limit?

There is no upload limit because nothing is uploaded. Very large documents depend on the memory of your device; documents of a few hundred pages open fine on a normal computer.
