Click any line of a PDF and type the new words: fix a date, a price, a name or a typo in seconds. Free, private and in your browser.
Private by design: your files are processed on your own device and never uploaded.
Edit PDF Text is the fastest way to change words that are already in a PDF. Click a line and it becomes editable: the old words are covered with the colour of the page around them, and you type the new ones in a matching size and colour.
It works on PDFs made from Word, Excel, Google Docs, invoices and most digital documents. Changed your mind? Click the same line again to edit it again, drag it to move it, or delete it. Scanned pages are pictures with no text inside: for those, use Whiteout to cover the old words and Add text to write new ones.
Drop it on the editor. It opens in your browser, nothing is uploaded.
Edit existing text is already selected. Click any line of text on the page.
The line becomes editable. Type, then click outside to finish.

The editor matches the size and colour and uses the closest standard style (sans, serif or mono). You can change the font, size, bold and italic in the bar above the page.
Scanned pages are pictures, so there is no text to click. Cover the old words with Whiteout and type over them with Add text.
