## Questions

### Is the Background Remover free?
Yes. No sign-up, no watermark, full resolution and no limit on the number of images.

### Are my photos uploaded?
No. Everything happens in your browser. Only the AI model is downloaded (once, about 44 MB, then kept by your browser); your photo never leaves your device.

### AI or Plain colour: which should I use?
AI is best for photos: people, pets, products and objects on any background. Plain colour is instant and exact for logos and graphics on a single-colour background, and can also clear the inside of letters.

### Can I fix the edges myself?
Yes. Use Erase to remove what the AI kept and Restore to bring back what it removed. Undo takes back the last stroke, and the Edge setting makes the cut crisper or softer.

### What file do I get?
A PNG with a transparent background, or a PNG or JPG on white, black or any colour you choose, at the full size of your image (up to 4096 pixels on the longest side). You can also crop it to the subject.
